GLOVE CARE

Your CROX goalkeeper gloves are made with premium German latex to provide maximum grip and performance.

Proper care will help maintain their condition and extend their lifespan.

Activate the Grip

Wash After Every Use

Dry & Store Correctly

  • 1. Activate the Grip

Before first use, rinse your gloves with lukewarm water to activate the German latex. Before every match or training session, lightly dampen the palms for maximum grip and performance.

  • 2. Wash After Every Use

Rinse your gloves with lukewarm water after every session to remove dirt, mud, and sweat. For stubborn dirt, use a goalkeeper glove wash or mild soap. Never machine wash or use harsh detergents.

  • Dry Naturally

After washing, gently squeeze out excess water without twisting the gloves. Allow them to air dry naturally in a cool, shaded area. Keep them away from direct sunlight, radiators, tumble dryers, and other heat sources.

  • Proper Glove Storage

Store your gloves in a cool, dry place with the latex palms facing together. Avoid leaving them damp inside your kit bag, as this can damage the latex and reduce grip over time.

Latex Wear & Tear

Goalkeeper glove latex is a soft, high-performance material designed to deliver maximum grip. Because of this, signs of wear are completely normal and should not be mistaken for a manufacturing fault.

  • Wear, abrasions, and small tears are a natural result of regular use.

  • Normal latex wear does not mean the gloves are faulty, defective, or expired.

  • Artificial turf, rough surfaces, and frequent use will accelerate wear.

  • Proper glove care and correct goalkeeping technique will help extend the life of your gloves.

  • Softer latex offers superior grip but naturally wears faster than harder latex compounds.

Important Glove Care Tips

1. Handle with Care

Avoid dragging the latex across the ground or using your palms to push yourself up after a save, as this can cause unnecessary wear.

2. Keep the Latex Damp

Lightly dampen the latex before and during play to maximise grip and maintain the best possible performance.

3. Rotate Your Gloves

Use one pair for matches and another for training to reduce wear and extend the lifespan of your goalkeeper gloves.
